Brutes is a ceramics brand specialising in functional homewares with a sculptural edge. Founded by former magazine editor Emma de Clercq, Brutes has a focus on creating minimal, durable design hand-made in small batches. 

Emma is a ceramicist and co-founder of London pottery co-operative Clay Collective who now, two of our makers reside [Alice Guillaume].  Clay collective began in 2016, a creative space for likeminded ceramicists offering support and spaces to showcase workings. Brutes offer a fresh take on simplicity within functional ceramics.
